Enterprise day with Syniadau Mawr Cymru and Ysgol Botwnnog #HerMenterConglMeinciau

In July we worked with Big Ideas Wales and Ysgol Botwnnog to hold two enterprise days for the Year 9 students in Ysgol Botwnnog. The aim behind these events was to create an opportunity for the students to not only learn and develop their entrepreneurial skills but to use their creativity to create fun projects that focused around their hobbies and the local area.

Daffodil Foods, Amcan, Blagur, Becws Islyn, Tanya Whitebits, Cwrw Llyn, and Gwasg Carreg Gwalch were all present at the event. It was interesting see how the students used what they learnt during the sessions to create and present their own business ideas before presenting them in front of their classmates and judges, who were from some of the businesses who had been assisting during the day. It was a great pleasure to prize the winning group and the entrepreneurial student of the day with a slate trophy from Llechi Llan and individual Bounce Below vouchers from Congl Meinciau and Ysgol Botwnnog. It was wonderful to see the students gain confidence and entrepreneurial knowledge as the events progressed. Thank you to everyone who participated to ensure these events were a success for the students.
